Raywood Primary School is located in a rural township 30 km to the north of Bendigo. The school has 31 students and 3 effective full-time (EFT ) teaching staff , a .6 Bursar and 2 Integration Aides.
The School is a new BER building and is set in spacious and attractive grounds. The School is a source of pride for the whole Community. Its development and maintenance, together with the provision of equipment and materials, reflects cooperation and teamwork between parents and staff.
The School Community represents a broad range of socio-economic groupings. Many students travel to school via a bus run from nearby Neilborough and Sebastian. There are several students with disabilities and they have been welcomed into the School with care and support.
The new BER School has provided an opportunity for improved teaching and learning, planning and initiatives through excellent classrooms and staff facilities, IT resources and open learning spaces.
